President Tinubu Arrives in Abu Dhabi for Energy and Sustainability Summit


President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to attend the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) 2026, an international forum focused on sustainable development, energy transition, and climate action.


President Tinubu was welcomed at Zayed International Airport by UAE officials, including Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, alongside the Nigerian Ambassador and senior government officials.


The summit, themed “The Nexus of Next: All Systems Go,” will host world leaders, policymakers, investors, and experts to discuss strategies for sustainable energy, innovation, and economic growth. Tinubu is expected to present Nigeria’s progress in energy and economic reforms and engage with international partners on investment and cooperation opportunities in clean energy and infrastructure.


The president’s participation underscores Nigeria’s commitment to global sustainability initiatives and strengthening bilateral relations with the UAE.
