Gas prices have risen sharply across Nigeria following the industrial action embarked upon by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN).
Reports indicate that the strike has disrupted the supply of gas and petroleum products in several parts of the country, leading to scarcity and price hikes.
PENGASSAN said the strike was launched to compel the government to address lingering issues affecting workers and the oil and gas sector.
