Kano, Nigeria – Residents of Tudun Yola in Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State were thrown into panic after two women were reportedly killed and their house set on fire by unknown assailants. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, leaving the community in shock and mourning.
Eyewitnesses said the attackers struck suddenly, and the victims were unable to escape the flames. The blaze completely destroyed the house, causing property loss in addition to the tragic loss of life. Local residents rushed to the scene, but the assailants had already fled before security forces arrived.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, though no suspects have been apprehended so far. The attack has heightened fears in the area, prompting calls from residents for increased security presence and urgent measures to prevent similar occurrences.
