Police operatives in Abuja have reportedly arrested the lawyer and brother of detained IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, during a demonstration calling for his release.
The arrest occurred amid the #FreeNnamdiKanuNow protest, where supporters gathered to demand the immediate freedom of the separatist leader currently held by the Nigerian government.
According to Sahara Reporters, both men were taken into custody by security forces during the peaceful rally. Their current location and the charges against them remain unclear as of press time.
