The Kano State Police Command has arrested a suspect accused of stealing a Hilux vehicle belonging to the convoy of the state’s Deputy Governor.
According to a report by Sahara Reporters, the suspect was apprehended following a swift investigation launched after the vehicle went missing. Police operatives tracked and recovered the stolen Hilux, confirming that it had been taken from the Deputy Governor’s convoy under suspicious circumstances.
The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) stated that the suspect is currently in custody and undergoing further interrogation to determine whether others were involved in the theft.
Authorities assured the public that all individuals connected to the crime would be brought to justice, reaffirming the command’s commitment to maintaining law and order in the state.
