The Plateau State Government has approved ₦2 billion in its supplementary budget to promote youth empowerment initiatives.
The funds, according to a report by Punch Newspaper, will be directed towards skills acquisition, training, and entrepreneurship programmes aimed at creating opportunities for young people in the state.
The initiative is part of government efforts to reduce unemployment and encourage self-reliance among youths.
