Liverpool have parted ways with head coach Arne Slot after two seasons in charge, bringing an end to the Dutchman’s tenure at Anfield.
Slot, 47, enjoyed a remarkable debut campaign, guiding Liverpool FC to their 20th league title. However, the club struggled to maintain that success in his second season, finishing fifth in the Premier League and missing out on a stronger title challenge.
The decision comes just a year after Liverpool celebrated domestic glory under Slot, highlighting the club’s high expectations and ambitions at the top level of English football.
Liverpool are now expected to begin the search for a new manager as they prepare for the upcoming season and aim to return to contention for major honours.
