Arsenal Target Rogers as Manchester United Eye Williams; Salah Linked with Besiktas Move

Arsenal have reportedly identified Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers as their top transfer target as the club looks to strengthen its attacking options ahead of the new season.

According to reports, the Gunners are expected to open discussions with Aston Villa over a potential deal for the 23-year-old England international, although Villa are believed to value the midfielder at more than £100 million.

Meanwhile, former Liverpool captain and Egypt international Mohamed Salah is reportedly close to agreeing a move to Turkish side Besiktas. The 34-year-old forward is expected to continue his playing career in the Turkish Super Lig after leaving Liverpool.

Manchester United are also monitoring Nottingham Forest full-back Neco Williams. The 25-year-old Wales international, who is capable of playing on both the left and right flanks, is said to be under consideration as United explore options to reinforce their defensive unit.

Elsewhere, Real Madrid are reportedly interested in Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise. The 24-year-old France international is believed to be open to a move to the Santiago Bernabéu.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly rejected a £46 million bid from Newcastle United for Swedish midfielder Lucas Bergvall, with the North London club determined to keep the highly rated 20-year-old.

Chelsea, on the other hand, would reportedly have to pay around £55 million if they wish to sign Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix during the current transfer window.

Guinea midfielder Ilaix Moriba has also attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, including Sunderland, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa, and Hull City. The Celta Vigo midfielder is expected to be available for around €20 million (£17 million).

Bayern Munich have reportedly granted Portugal international João Palhinha additional time before returning for pre-season after falling out of coach Vincent Kompany’s plans. Aston Villa are among the clubs monitoring his situation.

Tottenham are also said to be interested in signing Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United following the Hammers’ relegation to the Championship. The club is also expected to sanction several departures this summer, with Argentina defender Cristian Romero among the players who could leave.

Manchester United and Newcastle United are both keeping tabs on Eintracht Frankfurt’s Swedish midfielder Hugo Larsson, although neither club has submitted an official offer.

In Italy, Juventus have reportedly offered €6.5 million (£5.5 million) for Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, but Villa are said to be holding out for €12 million (£10.2 million).

Juventus are also believed to be leading the race to sign Monaco and United States forward Folarin Balogun, although Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland are also credited with interest in the 25-year-old striker.
