A senior U.S. official has disclosed that Ukraine has agreed to the latest peace proposal presented by Washington as part of ongoing efforts to end the conflict with Russia.
Despite the reported breakthrough, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky cautioned that the plan is not yet finalized, noting that “much work” still lies ahead before any agreement can be fully implemented. He reiterated that Kyiv will only support terms that safeguard Ukraine’s sovereignty and long-term security.
The development comes amid intensified diplomatic engagements involving the United States, European partners and Ukrainian negotiators, as pressure mounts for a sustainable settlement to the war.
