OAU defeats FUTA, triumphs in national STEM competition

The Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, has emerged as the overall winner of a national Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) competition after defeating the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), in the grand finale.

The institution, while disclosing the development in a statement issued by its Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Olarewaju, on Tuesday, noted that the contest featured top universities from across Nigeria.

According to the statement, “The competition involved a rigorous selection process that tested participants’ knowledge, innovation, and problem-solving abilities in STEM-related disciplines.
