Nigerian Troops Kill Nine Terrorists, Recover ₦5 Million Ransom in Borno


Nigerian troops have neutralised nine terrorists during a military operation in Borno State, recovering ₦5 million believed to be ransom money from the insurgents.

According to reports from Daily Post Nigeria on Saturday, October 11, 2025, the operation was carried out by troops of the Nigerian Army in a coordinated offensive aimed at disrupting terrorist activities in the region.

Military sources said the troops engaged the insurgents in a fierce gun battle, leading to their neutralisation and the recovery of cash and other items linked to recent kidnapping operations.

The Nigerian Army reaffirmed its commitment to eradicating terrorism and restoring peace to the North-East region.
