Niger State Lays to Rest Victims of Tanker Explosion, Provides Free Care for Survivors

Minna, Niger State – The Niger State Government has conducted a mass burial for victims of the recent tanker explosion that claimed several lives in the state. Families, community leaders, and government officials gathered in a solemn ceremony to pay their final respects to the deceased.

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, represented at the event, expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy and assured that the government would shoulder the medical bills of all survivors receiving treatment in various hospitals.

The explosion, which occurred earlier in the week, left multiple casualties and widespread destruction in the affected area. Emergency services and first responders were deployed immediately to rescue the injured and contain the fire.

Officials also reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing road safety regulations and enforcing stricter monitoring of fuel-laden trucks to prevent similar incidents in the future
