Man Jailed for Exposing Lack of Mattresses in Kebbi Hospital Donates to Facility After Release

A man who was imprisoned on the orders of Kebbi State Governor, Nasiru Kauran Dambu, for drawing attention to the absence of mattresses in a hospital, has donated to the same facility following his release.

Despite facing humiliation and imprisonment, the man, identified as Hassan, chose not to react with anger or fear. Instead, he offered support to the hospital as a gesture of goodwill.

Observers say his action highlights the failure of authorities to address basic healthcare needs, noting that citizens are now stepping in to fill gaps left by government neglect.
