FCTA Staff to Close Offices as Indefinite Strike Begins Monday

Workers of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) have announced plans to shut down offices nationwide as they commence an indefinite strike on Monday.

The decision follows unresolved issues between the workers and the authorities, with union leaders insisting that their demands must be addressed before normal operations can resume.

The strike is expected to disrupt administrative activities across FCTA offices and affect public services in the Federal Capital Territory.

Union officials said the action was taken after repeated efforts to engage with the government failed to yield meaningful results. They also urged the authorities to urgently intervene to prevent a prolonged shutdown that could inconvenience residents and businesses.
