Dozens Feared Dead as Israeli Airstrikes Pound Southern Lebanon

Dozens of people have been killed after a wave of air raids by Israel struck multiple مناطق in southern Lebanon over the past 48 hours, according to local authorities and emergency sources.

The strikes reportedly targeted several towns and border communities, leaving extensive destruction in their wake. Residential buildings, infrastructure, and vehicles were said to be badly damaged, with rescue teams combing through rubble in search of survivors.

Medical sources indicated that the death toll has continued to rise as more bodies are recovered, while dozens of others have sustained varying degrees of injuries. Hospitals in the region are said to be overwhelmed, struggling to cope with the influx of casualties.

The escalation has heightened fears of a broader conflict, as cross-border tensions between Israel and armed groups operating within Lebanon continue to intensify.

Authorities have urged residents in affected مناطق to evacuate or seek shelter, while humanitarian concerns grow over the safety of civilians caught in the ongoing hostilities.
