Major General Oyinlola Visits Christian and Muslim Congregations to Ease Tensions in Plateau State

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division and Commander of Operation ENDURING PEACE (OPEP), Major General Folusho Oyinlola, has visited both Christian and Muslim congregations in Plateau State in a bid to calm growing religious tensions.

During his visits, the general engaged with community leaders and worshippers, urging unity and peaceful coexistence as security forces continue efforts to stabilize the region.

The initiative by the military comes amid fears that rising sectarian hostility could undermine ongoing peacekeeping efforts in Plateau, where violence has frequently disrupted daily life.
