Who Stole ₦109.5m Worth of Gold in Kebbi? Police Nabbed Six Suspects

The Kebbi State Police Command has arrested six individuals over the theft of gold valued at ₦109.5 million.

According to police sources, the suspects were apprehended following credible intelligence that linked them to the crime. The command said the arrests were made after a coordinated operation in parts of the state.

The Commissioner of Police in Kebbi, while confirming the development, disclosed that investigations are ongoing to trace the stolen gold and bring all those involved to justice. He added that the suspects are currently in custody and will be charged in court once investigations are concluded.

The police chief further assured residents that the command is intensifying efforts to curb criminal activities in the state, stressing that such crimes will not go unpunished.

Meanwhile, the police urged the public to remain vigilant and provide useful information that could aid security agencies in tackling crime across the state.
