How Did Soldiers Nab Cattle Rustlers in Plateau?

Troops of the Nigerian Army have arrested two suspected cattle rustlers during a security operation in Plateau State, raising hopes for rural communities plagued by livestock theft.Military authorities said the suspects were intercepted while allegedly attempting to move stolen cattle.

Weapons believed to have been used in their criminal activities were also recovered in the operation.The army explained that the arrests were part of ongoing measures to curb cattle rustling, banditry, and other security threats affecting Plateau and the wider North-Central region.

Officials confirmed that the suspects are in custody and will be transferred to the appropriate security agencies for further investigation and prosecution.
