United States President, Donald Trump has said that the US does not need China’s help to fight Iran.
Trump said this while addressing reporters on Tuesday when asked if Beijing should intervene to help end the war with Iran.
“I don’t think we need any help with Iran,” he said.
The president, when asked if Chinese President Xi Jinping was the person who could revive the ceasefire, said he would like whatever help Xi can offer.
The Republican again dismissed economic concerns related to the ongoing war, noting that inflation would fall 1.5% after the war ends amid what he predicted would be a “gusher of oil.”
Recall that the crisis started on February 28 when the US, in an alliance with Israel, launched an attack on Iran, killing its Supreme Leader and others.
