Lack of father figure made me turned to drugs – Actor Bucci Franklin

Award-winning Nollywood actor, Bucci Franklin opened up about his childhood, revealing that he had a “messy” childhood and was singlehandedly raised by his mother after his dad abandoned them.

Speaking in a candid interview with media personality Chude Jidenowo, Franklin said the absent of his father impacted his life negatively, revealing that at some point, he turned to drugs to fill the void of absent father. 

“I was a hot mess as a child. My dad abandoned me. My mom raised me alone, and I turned to drugs,” Franklin said.
