FG, Angola Partner on Drug Control and Cultural Exchange

The Federal Government of Nigeria and the Republic of Angola have entered into a partnership aimed at strengthening the fight against drug trafficking while also promoting cultural exchange between both nations.

The collaboration, announced after bilateral talks, will see the two countries working closely through their relevant agencies to curb cross-border drug crimes, share intelligence, and build stronger preventive mechanisms.

In addition to drug control, the agreement also highlights cultural diplomacy, with both governments pledging to encourage cultural exchange programmes to deepen mutual understanding and strengthen ties between their peoples.

Officials from both nations described the initiative as a significant step toward enhancing regional cooperation in tackling drug-related challenges and fostering cultural unity.
