Senator Mohammed Tahir Monguno, popularly known as Kaka Lawan and representing Borno Central Senatorial District, has distributed N135.6 million to executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across his constituency ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
The lawmaker said the financial support was aimed at assisting party officials during the Sallah season and appreciating their loyalty and contributions to the growth of the APC in the state.
According to reports, beneficiaries included party executives from ward, local government, and senatorial district levels within Borno Central.
The distribution ceremony reportedly attracted party stakeholders and supporters, who commended the senator for the gesture ahead of the festive period.
