Tinubu Set to Receive Panel’s Report on Plateau Killings

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to receive the report of the House of Representatives’ ad-hoc committee investigating the recent killings in Plateau State.

The committee, chaired by Hon. Wale Ahmed, was set up to probe the causes of the recurring violence and recommend solutions to restore peace in the affected communities.

According to reports, the panel has concluded its findings after engaging with security agencies, community leaders, government officials, and civil society organisations.

The submission of the report comes amid growing concerns over insecurity in Plateau and criticism of the federal government’s response to the crisis.

The report is expected to provide detailed recommendations aimed at addressing the root causes of the violence and improving security operations in the state.
