Controversy has erupted over the marriage of Senator Ned Nwoko and popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, following a series of mutual allegations of abuse and misconduct between the couple.
In a social media post on Saturday, Senator Nwoko accused Regina Daniels of substance abuse and violent behaviour, alleging that she had assaulted domestic staff and destroyed property while under the influence of drugs and alcohol. He further claimed that the actress required rehabilitation and medical supervision.
His statement came shortly after a viral video surfaced showing Regina Daniels in tears, alleging that she was a victim of domestic violence. The actress claimed she was attacked by thugs allegedly sent by her husband.
Both parties have denied the accusations made against them, each asserting innocence while levelling serious counterclaims.
